FAQs
What is adjunct BrainSpotting therapy?
IBrainspotting adjunct therapy is a dynamic partnership, merging the ongoing therapeutic support from a primary therapist with concentrated sessions in Brainspotting therapy. This approach is ideal for clients who need focused intervention for trauma-related difficulties while still engaging with their primary therapist for general therapy goals. Clients may attend both types of sessions simultaneously or opt for a concentrated period of Brainspotting therapy, followed by a return to their primary therapist. This dual framework not only promotes deeper healing but also safeguards the therapeutic alliance, ensuring clients receive well-rounded care that meets their unique needs.
How does it work?
In my role as an adjunct therapist, I partner with you to develop a tailored treatment plan specifically designed to meet your clients’ unique needs. With your client’s consent, we can coordinate a schedule that integrates Brainspotting sessions into their ongoing therapy process, enriching their overall experience.
Once the designated period of adjunct Brainspotting therapy is complete, clients will return to you for a continued focus on their therapeutic goals. This collaborative approach enhances the healing journey while allowing your clients to access specialized techniques to process trauma effectively.
